Server down!

Jan 14th, 2015 1:52 pm by seriosbrad via Steam

Hey guys, the Minecraft server crashed last night and my host is telling me there are problems with the disk. I have no ETA on when it will be back online. If there is a loss of data, I have a backup of everything ffrom Jan 12th, 5am GMT.

Recently, we have been needing more resources, which means we require a better server. We have a really special deal with our current host, but it's just not enough power any more. If you notice any general lag at around the 12-15 player mark; that's why. An upgrade would put us at around $40/month on a different host with proper hardware - I simply can not afford this out of pocket even including donations.

I would also like to take this time to say thank again, to all our current donators who have made it possible to keep us hosted on this server for the next couple of months

The Minecraft server will be back momentarily.

As you are surely aware, seriosbrad has asked for help in getting the Minecraft server back online. I have funded the server for this month, and we will be back online shortly.

Unfortunatly, the server host did not keep backups and as such, we have to start from scratch. It was Brad's intent to start us with a new map anyhow.

Stay tuned!

Why is the Minecraft server down, you ask?

Dec 2nd, 2014 1:24 pm by seriosbrad via Steam

Because I'm broke; had teeth pulled and had to buy some special foods for the diet. Donations are appreciated; there is button on the right side of our website to help out! http://www.baronsofbullshit.com

Also, we can now run 1.8 as soon as I can find a way to get the server back online. The cost is only $14 USD.
